Hellooooo!

I’m Ian Porter, camera operator, editor, colorist and cinematographer.

Hailing from Hoboken, NJ, the birth place of baseball and Frank Sinatra, I fell in love with history. I tell unique, hidden stories and I’m filled with wild fun facts.

While attending school, I found my passion for art and striking visuals. I’m detail-oriented and get excited by the technical side of film.

With cinematography, I found a combination of the two things I love: storytelling and visuals. I have been a cinematographer/camera operator for short narratives with BU’s gender-inclusive cinema fraternity, music videos with Berklee College of Music, educational content for BU’s COVID-safety campaign, and comical man-on-the-street content for BlackSheep BU.

I recently received a B.S. in Film & Television at Boston University and I’m open to new work. Hit me up!
