Black Mental Health:
Changing the Narrative
Feature-length docuseries produced by the Black Mental Health Task Force & Spekulor with a grant provided by Kaiser Permanente. It covers the impact of racism on mental health in the black community through the story of a therapist connecting with her roots in west Africa.

I had the opportunity to both edit this piece, but also construct the story. Footage was shot over the course of several years and was lacking a narrative structure. Myself along with Christopher Gosch and Nakeya Fields were able to come together and find the story. Along with that I handled the bulk of the editing duties with a second editor coming on towards the end of the project.
